Business Brilliance Recap
If you missed the wonderful event at the Scottish Rite Catedral on February 11th we will show you what was there to experience. ISES had over 500 reservations for the event and brought in over $5000 for ISES Indiana! With about 30 suppliers and sponsors to help make this night a time to remember, all that attended got to walk away with something. Whether it was a taste of excitement in the cocktail lounge, a wedding reception feel or even a free gift from the raffle. If you were one of the winners from the 30 gifts that were raffled off at the end of the night, you are glad that you stayed for the end. There were $100 gift certificates at Shula's Steakhouse, several Valentine's Dinners for 2 from a variety of different venues, $100 gift certificate from Platinum Sound for a DJ session, Dance lessons, free Advertising placement in the Perfect Wedding Guide, free invitation/thank you printing and several more to enjoy. Just take a look at the excitement of the night in these photos.

Doin' the Decade
The Community Outreach Committee is proud to announce our next project. We will be working with School on Wheels to create their first "Doin' The Decade" party on April 26th. This 60's theme party will feature a raffle, fun and entertainment from 1964:The Tribute (said to be the #1 Beatles Show in the World).

School on Wheels is a new nonprofit organization in Indianapolis dedicated to the enhancement of educational opportunities for homeless children by tutoring them in shelters, providing them with necessary school supplies, and organizing summer programs.

ISES Indiana is helping with the overall planning of the event and finding vendors who are willing to contribute to the cause. The committee is also looking for volunteers to help Saturday, April 26th with set-up and then on-site. If you are interested please contact Kari Strolberg at ekstro@yahoo.com or (317)356-9617.

Board Member Profile
Jennifer Osborne: Communication Director
Jennifer has been with ISES Indiana now just over 4 years and is currently serving on the Board of Directors as the Communication Director (Newsletter writer). She has worked on the Pace Committee, the Education Committee with the REC and lends a hand in several other opportunities that arise to help out the organization. Being a part of the organization has introduced her to new contacts that she would not have gotten without ISES.

Outside of her ISES involvement, Jennifer works for SYSCO Food Services of Indianapolis, LLC. SYSCO is a National Food Distributor for the Food Service Industry, based in Houston, TX. Jennifer is the Event Coordinator for the Indianapolis Operating Company. At the 450 employee large Operating Company, she creates and directs over 30 events a year for SYSCO. SYSCO is on the client and the supplier side in relation to ISES. Several of SYSCO's clients are part of ISES and several of the suppliers in the organization help create their events. This is why ISES is so rewarding for Jennifer and SYSCO.

Jennifer's position at SYSCO allows her to work with every aspect of the organization from Sales to Warehouse Operations. As with the rest of us in ISES, Jennifer is never bored by not having enough to do! She presents product showcases (food trade shows), company picnics, awards banquets, golf outings, sales meetings, and customer visitations just to name a few of the events. Always challenging the company to open their eyes to new creative ideas that keep the customer excited about the organization.

When Jennifer is not busy with work or ISES she is using more of her time in the classroom. She is a student at the University of Indianapolis, getting her Masters in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. That does take up any free time that she could have, but somehow she still finds time to be able to have a few hobbies. Right now she is loving the snow, crazy as you may think! She is a snowboarder that spends a couple weekends and week vacations hitting the slopes. She also loves to draw, dance, and do any athletic activity - you can join her in the Mini Marathon in May.

At the next meeting come up to Jennifer and say hi just to let her know more about you!
