Description: Tonya Shadoan is an internationally known small business coach and image marketing consultant. This is a hot and emerging business that small businesses are taking advantage of. Tonya works mostly with special event planners and wedding planners, coaching them on how to be successful and grow their business. She is seeking an intern to be a liason between her clients and herself. Intern will be in charge of client communication, potential client sales, and follow up. Intern will learn the ins and outs of business coaching and assist with image branding strategies for each client. Focus is on communication, international communication and the branding of people! Learn how to be successful, teach others to be the same and get great experience in the event industry. You will also have the opportunity to shadow high end events. 15-30 hours per week, Unpaid.

Description: Circle City Planners is in search of an events intern. Circle City Planners has been planning weddings for nine years and has worked with some very special clients including Colts players and Miss America! This intern must be outgoing, flexible and ready for anything! He or she will assist with event preparation, vendor confirmations, and actual execution of high-end weddings. He or she must have the confidence to handle tough situations, deadlines, work under pressure and come up with solutions on the spot if need be. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required. Must be able to provide your own transportation to events. This is an unpaid opportunity. However, this is an opportunity to get a look into the industry, meet some of Indy’s finest professionals and begin your portfolio in events. Must be able to work 15-30 hours per week and be available on specific Fridays/Saturdays for events.

Description: Circle City Designers is a floral design company who works mostly with weddings and we are looking for an intern this spring. Interns will assist with floral design, client designs and implementation. This can include shadowing client meetings, assisting with design boards, and implementing these inspirations. Intern must be up to date with event trends, have a sense of style and a wish to get a peek into the event industry. He or she must be available on Fridays and Saturdays to assist with event delivery, set up and décor on-site at events. Must be able to take direction, reliable and punctual. 15-30 hours per week, unpaid.
